4 Days in Rome (Part 2)

At the center is situated an Egyptian obelisk (L’Obelisco Flaminio) from the time of the great Pharaoh Ramses II. This Obelisk is the oldest and the second highest in Rome. Discover also the impressive twin churches of St. Mary of Montessanto and Santa Maria (Santa Maria diMontesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli).

Terrazza del Pincio

Don’t miss to climb up to the terrace. It is located near the Villa Borghese Park, where you will again find an incredible view of Rome.

Villa Borghese

Enjoy the gardens of Villa Borghese, where in hot summer days, many tourists find coolness, tranquility and privacy from the otherwise noisy and unspoiled city. You will be impressed how many people use the park for sports.
